Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Also known as the Liga 12, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier league was founded in 2000. At the start of the league, there were some tensions. The Republic of Srpska did not acknowledge the newly established league and continued with their separate league. However, the UEFA and FIFA did not recognize their competitions. This meant that clubs could not perform in other football competitions. Two years later, in 2002/2003, the clubs joined the Premijer Liga. Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also known as the Premier Liga or Liga 12. The second divisions are the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the First League of the Republika Srpska.
