Serie B Table

The Serie B table

The Serie B is the second-best competition in Italy. Since 2019, the Serie B has 20 teams that compete to get promoted to the Serie A. Every year three Serie B teams get promoted to the Serie A. The top two teams at the table will advance directly, while the numbers three to six must play a couple of playoff matches, and the final winner of these playoffs will promote as well.

The number 20-18 will be forced to relegate to the Serie C. The numbers 17 and 16 will be playing a play-out to check who will be the fourth team to relegate. Only if the number 16 has 5 points or more than the number 17 the number 17 will be relegated directly.
