Last5Games is a specialised football stats platform built on one idea: Form Momentum. It lets users compare the recent performance of any two teams across goals, cards, head-to-head data and short-term trends, so fans and analysts can see whether a team is improving, stable or declining.

For a stats platform, data isn't just a feature, it is the product. Co-founder Mik searched Reddit and comparison sites for a provider with enough depth at the right cost. Enterprise APIs were too expensive, budget APIs lacked coverage, and scrapers were not a viable long-term option. Sportmonks stood out on coverage and price.

Finding reliable, affordable, comprehensive data

When a product is entirely powered by football data, the provider decision is the product decision. Last5Games needed wide global coverage, rich statistical depth, consistent delivery and a price that made sense for a growing platform.

The W-D-L-W-W sequence, in strict chronological order, is built from each team's recent fixtures pulled between two dates, so the latest form reflects exactly how it happened.

Head-to-head, kept separate

H2H isolation, the head-to-head record kept apart from league-wide form, comes from the head-to-head fixtures for the two selected teams.

Season-long context

The Impact

A specialised platform, launched and scaling
