What is the Premium Odds Feed?

The Premium Odds Feed is a pre-match odds add-on for the Sportmonks Football API, built in partnership with TXODDS, an odds provider that has supplied real-time and historical odds services to the global sports betting industry for over two decades. It delivers odds from 120+ international bookmakers across 42 betting markets, including match result, over/under, Asian handicap and correct score, all linked to the fixtures and teams already in your database.

Freshness is measurable, not promised. Pre-match odds are updated around every 1 minute, and every odds entry carries a last updated timestamp so your users can see exactly how current each price is. We document the opening odds for every fixture and store each subsequent change, so you can track how an odd evolved and keep that history available for up to 7 days after kick-off.

Standard pre-match and in-play odds are already part of the Football API. Premium is the step up: more bookmakers, faster updates and full odds history through the TXODDS partnership, in nearly the same JSON structure as the standard feed. The Premium Odds Feed is an add-on developed in partnership with TXOdds, a highly reputable odds provider known for its data reliability. It offers 42 markets from 120+ bookmakers. We also document the opening odds for each fixture, and all subsequent changes are recorded and made accessible, so you can track the evolution of each odd and present those changes to your users.

How often are the premium odds updated?

Our pre-match odds are updated around every 1 minute. In the worst case, it can take up to 2 minutes before a change on the bookmaker's site is available in our API feed. Every odds entry carries a last updated timestamp, so you can always show how fresh a price is.

Do you offer historical odds?

Yes. The API provides a history of odds for fixtures for up to 7 days after kick-off (the starting_at timestamp). We document the opening odds for each fixture; subsequently, all changes and updates are stored and accessible for your use.

Does the Premium Odds Feed include in-play odds?

No. The Premium Odds Feed covers pre-match odds. For odds during the match, use the in-play endpoints of the standard odds feed, which is part of the Football API.
